This unique 24 / 16 desk began it's life as the main recording console for the Dureco Studio's in Holland. All famous Dutch artists from the 70's recorded here, and this Cadac has produced numerous hits. Somewhere in the 80's, it was bought by the Fendal Studio's (see picture above), and in 1990 I was lucky enough to get my hands on it. I owned a private label called Music Art, and produced many successful records again on the Cadac. See (1990) picture below.

In 1998, I moved to Spain, and since that moment, the Cadac is asleep. I took all the modules out for safe keeping and stored the whole lot in my garage. Till that moment the desk was performing very well, no problems whatsoever, except for the main power supply. It blew a few days before transport, something that happened every two or three years. No idea why. A new power supply is waiting for pick-up.

Please note:

This Cadac has not been used for over 10 years and is partly dismantled for safe keeping. The whole lot is dry stored in my garage in Spain, half way Alicante - Valencia. It will need thorough cleaning (takes time) and reassembling (which is an easy job), but there is no reason why it shouldn't start up again.

Measures

The console measures approx 253 X 112 cm, the patch panel is 116 X 68 cm.
